The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger shared by ataks

I just read The Strange Case of Origami Yoda. This book is about a kid named Dwight who invents an origami Yoda. Dwight is really weird. For example, he wears the same shirt for a month, wants everyone to call him "Captain Dwight", and he wears an origami Yoda on his finger. However, the origami Yoda can predict the future. A boy named Tommy wants to find out how Yoda (a.k.a. Dwight's voice) can know so much. It could just be that Dwight has the Force or something, but Dwight is so dumb that Tommy thinks that Yoda is for real. To find out how Yoda can predict the future, Tommy puts together a case file about the questions people asked origami Yoda. One day Harvey, Tommy's friend, makes his own origami yoda. Harvey thinks that Yoda is a fake, and trries to prove it by making Tommy ask an important question to Dwight's Yoda: Does Sara like Tommy? Tommy asks both Yodas; Harvey says no, Dwight says yes. To find out which Yoda is right, Tommy has to ask Sara to dance at the PTA Fun Night. At the fun night, Tommy finds Dwight dancing with a girl named Caroline, who he had gotten into a fight with a kid named Zack for. Then, Tommy asks Sara to dance, and she says yes. It turns out that Dwight's origami Yoda is real! This book is great!
