In the book The Last Payback by James Van Ooting a girl named, Dorothea learns that her brother Dale died. Everyone says he got shot by his good friend Ronnie. Now, she was the only person left in the twin protectors club, a club that Dorothea and Dale created, and she can’t stop thinking about their one and only rule,” never delay a payback”. Now Dorothea knows what she has to do to make the score even. The rest of the book is about how Dorothea gets even with Ronnie. At the end of the book Dorothea finds out that Ronnie did not kill Dale but, that Dale killed himself.
