The Lost Hero takes place in modern-day United States , following a hero, Jason, and his friends through their many adventures in order to save the queen of the gods and defeat the Titans.
Jason woke up on a bus in a summer wilderness camp with a bunch of other kids. He had no idea who he was or how he got there. There were two kids there named Leo and Piper who claimed to be his friends. They said that they were headed for the skywalk at the Grand Canyon . When they arrived, they got ambushed by wind spirits and their protector/coach got captured. Jason and his friends got picked up by two demigods and were brought to Camp Half-blood .
They found out that Hera was captured and needed help from a demigod to free her. The mysterious appearance of the three demigods prompted the rest of the campers that they should be the ones to go on the quest. They set out on the quest and stopped to get directions from minor gods and to pick up their protector, coach Hedge, from an evil department store. They went to a mountain to defeat the titan Enceladus.
Then they went to the wolf house to free Hera from Porphrion. They got there in the middle of a battle between demigods and monsters Jason, Piper, and Leo took care of the rest of the monsters and set to work on Hera’s cage. Hera broke free and scared off Porphrion.
The three demigods became heroes and Jason got his memory back. I think this book was well written and fast-paced. I would give it I think this book was well written and fast-paced. I would give it 4 ½ stars.
