a nice lady until this lady dies she is given to Doctor Norcom , one of this lady's relatives.

Doctor Norcom and his wife are very cruel to her. Finally she is allowed to live with her aunt

and she married a white and gave birth to a son and later a daughter. She runs away from Doctor Norcom and tricks him in selling her children to her white husband. The white man is nice but does not free them. She stays in her Grandmother's house, where she hides in the attic. She wants freedom...
