Summary: The book Graceling by Kristin Cashore describes a journey of a Graced girl who is only 11 years old. A Graced person is someone who is born with normal eyes but soon wake up with two different colored eyes. This means that they have a special talent. The Graced girl is named Katsa and her Grace is killing with her bare hands. She is forced by her uncle, King Randa, to hurt innocent people. But soon she meets Po who is Graced with a power almost like mind reading. They go on a very dangerous journey to find the person who kidnapped Po's grandfather. There were many interesting twists.
Opinion: I would say that there were many words that were out of my vocabulary limit. But it helped me to get to a higher vocabulary level. And most of the time, I didn't want to put the book down. I really liked this book and reading about how Katsa (the main character) took responsibility and becomes friends with Po who helps her to fight. Katsa even fights a mountain lion!
