Cassie's life isn't the easiest. Unless you consider that a seventh grader, would cook dinner every night, think that her little brother has a reading disability,and go out shopping for cat food on her own at nine o'clock in the night. Cassie's dad left her, her mom, her little brother, and her older sister. Her older sister, Miranda would always be against her father, though Cassie would defend him, though she believed that her father would have to give her an explanation on why he left after he came back. Things aren't any better at school, considering that her English teacher hates everything she does, her grades are deteriorating, and that she's getting mixed signals from a boy she likes. Can Cassie keep up with her insanely real life?
