When Bryce Loski first met Juli Baker, he wasn't much too thrilled about her. Although, Juli was head over heels for Bryce. Through the years, not much changed, though when it came to eight grade, the book took a turn. Juli started raising chickens, which eventually made eggs. Juli was delivering her eggs to her neighbors and then thought that she would deliver her eggs to Bryce for free, instead of making him pay. When she delivered them to him, Bryce talked it over with his family, and they were all scared of salmonella poisoning,since the Bakers yard was a mess. Juli kept giving Bryce eggs for two years, though she didn't know that he threw them away until she caught him. Julie lost all her interest in Bryce, although Bryce developed a crush on Juli. The book takes weird turns over and over again, though in the end Bryce and Juli end up really meeting each other after living next to each other for over six years.
